- racks pork side ribs center cut removed, cut into one-bone portions

- soy sauce

- 1/4 cup
- lime juice
- 60 mL
- 2 tbsp
- finely chopped fresh cilantro
- 30 mL

- toasted sesame seeds
- 15 mL
Method
Step 1
Bring large pot of water to a boil. Add ribs, onion, 1 tbsp (15 mL) ginger and 3 cloves garlic. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer 90 min. until cooked through and very tender. Let cool completely in water. Discard onion and garlic. Season rib with Chinese 5 spice and salt.
Step 2
Meanwhile, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lime juice, remaining ginger and garlic.
Step 3
Preheat grill to high heat, grease grates well. Add ribs to grill and reduce heat to medium. Cook ribs, basting and turning frequently with honey soy glaze, about 10 min. until well marked and sticky. Transfer to serving platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and cilantro.
