2 tubs
fresh oysters, drained, patted dry
8 oz/250 g each
8 slices
bacon
16
toothpicks

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line baking sheet with parchment. Cut each oyster in half cross-wise. Cut each slice of bacon in half cross-wise.

Step 2

Roll half-oysters inside halved bacon slices; secure with toothpicks. Arrange on baking sheet.

Step 3

Bake 5 min., turn over and bake another 5 min. until bacon is golden. Set on serving dish. Serve with cocktail or tartar sauce, if desired.
