Ingredients
- 1 1/3 pounds
- ground beef
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- 2 cans
- Compliments Black Beans, drained and rinsed
- 15 ounces each
- 3/4 cup
- Tomato Salsa
- 1 1/2 cups
- Sensations Shredded Tex Mex Cheese
- 1/2 cup
- Lucerne® Regular or Light Sour Cream
- 3
- green onions, ends trimmed, finely chopped
- 3 to 4
- Roma tomatoes, cored and finely chopped
- 1 bag
- Compliments White Corn Tortilla Chips

Method
Step 1
Preheat oven broiler to high. Place beef in a 12 or 14-inch frying pan over medium high heat.
Step 2
Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir often until meat is browned and cooked through, 6-8 minutes.
Step 3
With a slotted spoon, transfer meat to a paper towel lined plate to drain. Wipe pan clean.
Step 4
Add black beans and salsa to the pan. Stir over medium-high heat just until heated through, about 2 minutes.
Step 5
Spoon bean mixture into a deep 9-inch pie dish or baking pan.
Step 6
Top with meat and cheese. Broil 4-6 inches away from heat until cheese is bubbling and lightly browned, 3-4 minutes.
Step 7
Watch carefully to avoid burning the cheese.Remove dish from oven and top with sour cream, green onions, and chopped tomatoes.
Step 8
To serve, spoon portions out into bowls or on plates with tortilla chips.
