What is Scene+?
Scene+ is one of Canada’s leading lifestyle loyalty programs. The Scene+ program offers members opportunities to earn and redeem points when and how they want to be rewarded. Members can earn and redeem Scene+ points at Safeway and other participating grocery stores and pharmacies, for travel with Expedia, movies at Cineplex, dining at Swiss Chalet, Harvey’s, Montana’s and more.
Where can I earn Scene+ points?
Scene+ offers members rewards their way – allowing them to earn points on things like movies, banking, entertainment, shopping, dining, and much more.
You can now earn Scene+ points at Safeway and other participating grocery and pharmacy locations in Western Canada (BC, AB, SK, MB). Scene+ members can already earn and redeem at participating grocery stores and pharmacies in Atlantic Canada (NB, NS, PEI, NFLD). Where can I redeem Scene+ points?
Scene+ offers several ways to redeem points on things like travel with Expedia, movies, gift cards, Apple and Best Buy products and dining. You can also redeem your Scene+ points for an account credit on eligible Scotiabank debit and credit cards.
You can now redeem Scene+ points at Safeway and other participating grocery and pharmacy locations in Western Canada (BC, AB, SK, MB). 1000 Scene+ points redeemed is equal to $10 toward your purchase. For a full list, please visit sceneplus.ca.
I live in North Western Ontario, when will my Safeway store join Scene+?
As of September 22, 2022, you will be able to use your Scene+ card at Safeway stores in select Ontario locations: Thunder Bay, Kenora, Fort Frances, and Dryden.
How do I earn Scene+ points in store?
There are a few ways to earn Scene+ points at Safeway, including:
Everyday Rewards: Earn points through weekly flyer events and everyday product offers in-store and online with VoilÃ
Personalized Offers: Sign up to receive weekly offers just for you, delivered to your email or grocery store App
Pharmacy: In Provinces, where permitted by law, you will be able to earn Scene+ points on the full cost of prescriptions at Safeway Pharmacy to a maximum of 5000 Scene+ points per day.
Banking Products: Earn even more points by shopping at Safeway and other participating grocery stores using a Scotiabank debit or credit card.
How do I sign up for a Scene+ card?
If you already have a Scene card, you’re automatically a Scene+ member. To enroll to become a Scene+ member, please visit www.sceneplus.ca/register
Are physical Scene+ cards available or do I need to download the Scene+ app?
Yes, customers can pick up a physical card and enrollment kit in in-store. Please note that only one physical card is available per Scene+ account, but additional family members are able to download the Scene+ app and use the same Scene+ account to rack up points for the family.
Can I have more than one physical card for my account?
Members can only have one Scene+ physical card per account. For access to your card at your fingertips, or family sharing, download the Scene+ app.Â
How do I earn and redeem Scene+ points at Safeway?
Simply ensure your Scene+ card is registered and scan it in store to earn Scene+ points.
How do I redeem Scene+ points at Safeway? 
Simply tell your cashier that you’d like to redeem Scene+ points on your purchase. You can get $10 off your bill for every 1000 Scene+ points redeemed.
I’m already a Scene+ member, how do I find my Scene+ membership number?
You can get your Scene+ membership number emailed to you by visiting the Send me my card page on the Scene+ website. If there has been a change to your email or you require further assistance, please contact Scene+ support at 1-866-586-2805.
Can I transfer Scene+ points to a family member or friend?
No, Scene+ points are non-transferable.Â
Will Scene+ Points expire?
Your Scene+ account may be closed if it remains inactive for more than 24 consecutive months.  
However, if you have a Scene+ Scotiabank product linked to your Scene+ card, your points won’t expire as long as that Scotiabank product remains open.
You’ll be notified in advance if your account is ever at risk of being closed. 
How can I find out how many Scene+ points I have?
You can find out how many points you have by logging into your account on sceneplus.ca or opening the Scene+ app. You can also link your Scene+ card to your Safeway account and view your points balance in the Safeway app or on mygroceryoffers.ca
I can’t see my Scene+ points balance on my app. What do I do?
If you are having trouble with your Scene+ app, please contact Scene+ Support at 1-866-586-2805.
I scanned my Scene+ card but I’m missing some points. What can I do?
Be sure to keep your receipt and visit our in-store Customer Service desk or email support@sceneplus.ca.
How do I register to receive personalized Scene+ offers at Safeway?
There are three ways you can register to receive personalized Scene+ point offers:
- Sign up for a Safeway account and register your Scene+ membership number
- Sign up for an account on mygroceryoffers.ca to receive personalized offers from Safeway and other participating grocery stores
- Download the Safeway app and link your Scene+ card
What are personalized Scene+ offers?
Personalized Scene+ offers are weekly offers that are just for you, delivered to your email or Safeway app, selected based on your shopping activity. While you will receive grocery store offers through your Scene+ app, your personalized offers are only available on the Safeway app or www.mygroceryoffers.ca
Please note that personalized offers are not currently available for Voilà by Sobeys and Voilà by Safeway purchases. Voilà by Sobeys and Voilà by Safeway customers will receive 500 points for each $50 they spend online or through the app.
Will my personalized grocery offers appear on the Scene+ app or website?
While you will receive weekly grocery product offers on the Scene+ app and website, personalized offers are only available in participating grocery store apps, by email from a participating store, or on mygroceryoffers.ca.
Can I collect Scene+ points on prescriptions filled at Safeway Pharmacy?
Safeway Pharmacies in Manitoba & Saskatchewan
Yes, you will be able to earn 2 Scene+ points for every dollar spent on the full cost of prescriptions filled at Safeway Pharmacies in Saskatchewan & Manitoba, to a maximum of 5000 Scene+ points per day.Â
We are not able to offer Scene+ points on prescriptions filled in British Columbia & Alberta due to provincial regulations.Â
 You will be able to earn Scene+ points on over-the-counter purchases made at any participating pharmacies nationwide. 
Why am I asked to present ID when trying to redeem my Scene+ points using a digital Scene+ card in-store?
To protect your data and Scene+ points, you may be asked to present to validate the transaction.
The digital wallet I store my Scene+ card in does not include my name, can I still use it to redeem?
When using a digital card to redeem Scene+ points it is best to use an App that includes your name in case you are asked to present ID. These Apps include the Scene+ App, our grocery store app, and certain digital wallets.
Do I need to show ID when redeeming points with my plastic Scene+ card?
At this time, ID is only required when redeeming with a digital Scene+ card and when asked by a cashier. This includes cards stored on any app or in your digital wallet like the Scene+ App, our grocery store app, and certain digital wallets.

What is Scene+?
Scene+ is one of Canada's leading lifestyle loyalty programs. The Scene+ program offers members opportunities to earn and redeem points when and how they want to be rewarded.
Scene+ will include our leading grocery, pharmacy, liquor and convenience brands in Canada, as well as travel through Expedia, banking solutions through Scotiabank, dining with over 700 Recipe Unlimited restaurants (like Swiss Chalet, Montana's, Kelseys and Harvey's), movies through Cineplex and redemption partnerships with great brands like Apple, Best Buy and many others.
When will my store stop accepting my AIR MILES card?
Scene+ will replace the current AIR MILES program in our grocery, pharmacy, liquor and convenience stores and online grocery. We will transition from AIR MILES to Scene+ beginning in Atlantic Canada in August 2022, and then continue across the rest of Canada culminating in early 2023.
Can I continue to collect AIR MILES Reward Miles at your stores until Scene+ is launched?
Yes. You can continue to collect and redeem AIR MILES with us until Scene+ is available in your local store. We are committed to continue delivering great value and promotion opportunities to customers through the Air Miles program through the transition.
Will I lose any AIR MILES Reward Miles I have earned? What happens to my AIR MILES reward miles?
No. You will not lose any AIR MILES Reward Miles already earned in our stores. All AIR MILES Reward Miles accumulated in-store or online prior to Scene+ being available in your local store will be posted to your account within 60 days of an eligible transaction. You can continue to redeem Miles in your local store up until Scene+ goes live. You can continue earning and redeeming Miles across AIR MILES coalition partners as you would normally.

Can I transfer my AIR MILES Reward Miles to Scene+?
No. Your AIR MILES Rewards Miles will remain part of the AIR MILES Reward Program. You can use your AIR MILES Cash Miles in your local store until we launch Scene+ in your location.
Will the AIR MILES Reward Miles I have expire if I earned them from a Safeway store?
This announcement will not impact your AIR MILES Rewards Miles. You can continue to redeem your AIR MILES Rewards Miles in our stores as you would normally until we transition to the Scene+ program. See https://www.airmiles.ca/en/get-help/managing-my-account.html for more details.
Do I have to use a certain portion of my AIR MILES Reward Miles up before Scene+ is launches at my local store?
No. You can redeem AIR MILES Rewards Miles in your local store until Scene+ launches in your location. You can continue earning and redeeming Miles across AIR MILES coalition of partners as you would normally.
What happens to the Safeway eVoucher that I have after Scene+ launches?
eVouchers do not expire, Safeway eVouchers will continue to be accepted towards purchases after the launch of Scene+.
